About Our School

Why Choose Harrisburg Catholic Elementary?

Harrisburg Catholic Elementary School takes a whole-child approach to elementary education. Teachers, administrators, counselors, and support staff work together to meet the intellectual, social, behavioral, and emotional needs of each and every child we serve. HCE uses the natural curiosity of children to teach Math, Reading, and critical thinking skills, following the curriculum of the Diocese of Harrisburg.  We offer a gifted teaching staff, small class sizes, and personalized interest in each child.  We are proud to be a Middle States Association accredited school.

Who Are Our Students?

Message from Our Principal

students with STEM activity

Thanks for taking the time to visit our website.  I hope you can find all the information that relates to enrollment, answer any questions you may have, or find out something about our school.  Harrisburg Catholic Elementary was created out of Holy Family and Cathedral Consolidated Schools to bring the message of Jesus Christ to the children of our school on a daily basis through both word and action.  Our students are challenged academically on a daily basis by a dedicated and highly qualified staff of individuals who work together to better each child that is enrolled in our school.                    -- Mr. David Rushinski, Principal
