Daily Schedule
Absenteeism and Lateness If a child is absent, a parent/guardian must call the school by 8:00 a.m. to inform the appropriate office staff that the child will not be in school that day. If the absence is not reported by 8:30, school staff will attempt to contact parents/guardians or the emergency contact. Upon his/her return to school, the student must have a note signed by a parent stating the date(s) and reason for the child's absence. If a student is absent 3 or more consecutive days, a doctor's note is required for the child to return to school. If a student is expecting to be out of school for more than a week, a parent or guardian must contact the principal. Any student who arrives after the start of school is considered late and therefore, must be signed in by a parent/guardian and given a late pass to enter their homeroom. Parents are NOT permitted to simply drop their child at the school entrance if the child is late.
